Renfor (Mycophenolate Sodium Tablets 360 mg) is an enteric formulation of mycophenolate sodium delivering active moiety mycophenolic acid (MPA). As an immunosuppressant agent, it needs to be administered with caution in patients having active serious digestive system disease. Further, it should also be avoided in patients having rare hereditary deficiency of hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyl-transferase (HGPRT) like Lesch-Nyhan and Kelley-Seegmiller syndrome.
