A joint initiative of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry and Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India.FACC is a dedicated Centre established for the promotion of responsible business practices and to create market place trust. This national initiatives intends to enhance the existing practices in the area of consumer care management by facilitating the stakeholders through:
- Creating an interface between Businesses & Consumers
- Creating company-wide Improvement through Capacity Building
- Changing the existing Corporate Culture by introducing a Code of Conduct based on Voluntary Self Regulation
- Facilitating the change of mindset towards management of complaints through adoption of global best practices focusing on complaint prevention.
- Facilitating Prompt redressal of Consumer grievances through an integrated complaint management mechanism & developing systems for complaint prevention
- Creation of a resource centre to facilitate information exchange in the area of consumer care management & document the best practices.
