There are various kinds of businesses that qualify under the star export house scheme for concessions under the export business category similar in nature to the focus market scheme. Some of these businesses are - Export Oriented Units (EOUs), units located in Special Economic Zones (SEZs), Electronic Hardware Technology Parks (EHTPs), Software Technology Parks (STPs), Biotechnology Parks (BTPs) and Agri Export Zones (AEZs), which are all eligible under this scheme for special treatment under the export category of industries.
